How hard would it be to swap the radio unit for a Navigation unit in a 2003 Saab 9-5? Is there a lot of wiring that needs to be done? Do I need a new antenna? Will I have to wire the navigation unit into my existing OnStar antenna?

If disconnect my navigation unit on my 2004 MDX will my information screen begin to work again? My navigation doesn't work on my 2004 MDX and I was fine with that until I had to disconnect the battery for a major service. Now the information screen won't go to any of the other functions for the a/c or the trip information because it's waiting for the navigation to upload software. Since the nav unit is not responding I now have this useless screen staring at me.

Can you ground navigation unit and parking brake cable and mute wire tot he same groudn cable? I got Pioneer Avic F-90bt and in order to bypass it i need to ground brake cable (from wiring which comes with Pioneer) and ground mute wire. What is wrong with my navigation head unit? I have a pioneer head unit (AVIC-X710BT) and it has stopped displaying an the image. Instead it displays "The image may appear reversed" or something similar. For the '03 to '05 Honda Accord, who makes the Navigation head unit.? I recently purchased a 2004 Honda Accord with Navigation. It works fine, but the joystick knob on my unit is missing. Can anyone tell me who is the manufacture for the head unit (I've heard it may be Alpine), and the model number for the unit? I'd like to see if I can have them ship me a new replacement knob. Honda has no information for the unit on their website; and their part web site treats the whole head unit as one part.

Does anyone know about the Kenwood DNX 7140 2 din Car head unit with built in navigation? I am trying to find out if I can over ride or bybass the parking brake on the DVD/ Video, and it still play video while driving. A buddy of mine got the pioneer version and the damn GPS knows that he is moving even with a parking brake switch over ride and does not allow any video to play. Does anyone know about this for the Kenwood DNX7140?
